ABOUT CHALLENGER COLUMBIA STADIUM

Clear Creek ISD Challenger Columbia Stadium, the District’s second stadium complex, was built to accommodate for the continued fast growth of the Bay Area region and support the many athletic and fine arts activities of CCISD’s five comprehensive high schools. Challenger Columbia Stadium was funded by the Bond 2013 Program, which was approved by 70% of voters in May 2013. The Bond 2013 Program was conceived by 30 community members who served on the Citizens Facility Advisory Committee in 2012 and was approved by the Board of Trustees in February 2013. The resulting $367 million Bond package, submitted to and approved by voters, addressed CCISD facilities, instructional technology, and co-curricular and extracurricular program needs of a fast growth district.
